I made a weird sound with my voice, stretched it out in every direction, and looped it to make a cool noise that could be used as the ambient music for a part of a game where there are either giant robots roaming around, or are scary-as-hell creatures.

The first tune to hear on this recording is the theme song "Gonna Raise A Ruckus Tonight", later Larry Mathis plays the "Dixie Breakdown" with the barn dance band. I think this sounds a bit like a jazz age theme reflecting a journey by steam ship. It was bolted together from little loopable sections (also uploaded separately here) which were all created using edirol orchestral samples and the magic of arpeggiating programs. Feel free to use this for anything you like without crediting me, or assemble your own tune out of the individual sections.

This choro music shows the typical improvisation style of the choro players. The music is a variation of the ancient folk theme of northern part of Rio de Janeiro state called "Dança da Urubu" also called "Urubu Malandro", "Samba do Urubu" or "O Urubu e o Gavião". A sort of renaissancey version of the first two lines of ding dong merrily on high, composed on cubase with samples from the edirol orchestral plug in (a bit of harp, french horn, alto flute and violin with kettle drum and sleigh bell percussion). This was for the intro to a radio sketch but hopefully could be useful for other theme setting. Sorry in advance for not doing the whole song.
